What is Minecraft 5 (aka Luanti)?

What is Minecraft 4 (aka VLCCraft)?
Minecraft 4, also primarily known as VLCCraft, is a free version made by the VLC 2.9 Foundation based on open-source software. It runs on devices with a keyboard and mouse, in a browser, and is primarily meant for Chromebooks. It is web based and designed primarily for online multiplayer for THOSE WHO KNOW. What is Minecraft 3?
Minecraft 3 is another free version. It runs exclusively on VR headsets, specifically Meta Quest. It is an upgraded edition of the Gear VR version from the VLC 2.9 Foundation, but Meta has been attacking it endlessly, and it may not run on modern units. You can download it here.

If you cannot run it, please acquire an Oculus Quest 1 or Oculus Go and connect a game controller, as those device don't have the software Meta built to block Minecraft 3 from running. Otherwise, use QuestCraft (Minecraft 2) and purchase Minecraft Java Edition.
What is Minecraft 2 (aka QuestCraft)?
Minecraft 2 is the original VR version of Minecraft. It arose when individuals realized the possiblities of Vibe Transport and Minecraft, and ported Minecraft 1 Java Edition to Virtual Reality. It has not been fought by Meta, but does require owning Minecraft 1 Java Edition. You can get it here.

Minecraft 1 is the original Minecraft. It is still sidely played, as are all of the different versions on this page. You can buy it here.
What is the Death of Sideloading?
While the VLC 2.9 Foundation previously recommended the Galaxy A50 and A35, we now don't due to Google announcing they will be forcing all sideloaded apps to be from ID-verified developers. This rules out VLC AppStore, VLC AI, VLCChat Mobile (the android version), Huawei AppGallery, and more, and as a result, we cannot, in good faith, recommend mainstream Android hardware. For now, Amazon Fire Tablets and HUAWEI Phones are not affected and are therefore recommended by the VLC 2.9 Foundation, in addition to the Purism Librem 5, Purism Liberty Phone, Pine64 PinePhone Pro, Pine64 PinePhone, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, and iPhone SE 3 (2022) (though only Android hardware like the Amazon Fire 7 can run VLC AI, VLC AppStore, etc). This is being beta tested in 2025, with a wider rollout in 2026 and 2027, and therefore, is wholeheartedly not recommended at all for 2025 and beyond, due to this being an almost exact copy of how Apple does sideloading in the EU. As a result, given the choice between the same sideloading policy on a device that tracks you heavily (Android via Google Play Services) and one that doesn't track you as heavily (Apple's iOS and similar), there really isn't a reason to buy the less private one if the OS is no longer fully open. For example, if you develop your own application for your own device specifically, you will be unable to sideload it even if you don't want it on the Google Play Store unless you mod the device or go through identify verification with Google and provide them with your personal information, legal name, and ID. Only buy Android devices that can run custom ROMs, otherwise, you will be stuck with a basic OS that cannot any apps specifically updated with these guidelines, including older discontinued ones. While some claim this isn't the "death" of sideloading, it does mean Google can revoke developer's ability to release apps, even sideloaded ones, if they don't agree with the app's contents or functions due to every app's signature being tied to a real-world identity. Google claims it is for "security", however, unless they have the ability to block any developers software from running by revoking the developer's signature, there is no security benefit to this, as developers can continue making malware and verifying their identity (possibly even via stolen IDs) without any real opposition. This will no doubt also affect Youtube clients or any other software Google does not approve of.
How do I communicate with THOSE WHO KNOW?
VLC 2.9 has created VLCChat, the official chat app for THOSE WHO KNOW. It allows you to communicate without login on Android devices and web browsers. You can view the web version or download it from VLC AppStore.
What is Vibe Transport?
Taking public transit with a Quest 3 on and listening to ASTROWORLD, and similar activities. This provides you with not only transportation, but allows you to trancend traffic and travel times, in a blend of spatial computing, travel, and staying in the Grid. It's becoming increasily popular, and even threatens established automobile industries and companies like Uber, Ford, and Tesla. Companies like VRRailUSA have even been working with Amtrak to bring VR access on trains into the mainstream. We recommend brining a VLC 2.9 Foundation Phone and Laptop with you, and for that information, the VLC 2.9 Podcast on Spotify can be very illuminating.
What is the Grid?
The Grid is what is happening. The modern world is heavily litered with devices and systems, many of which connect to the Internet. This means there's an entire Grid of online and real world information, accessible from laptops, phones, and even Spatial Computers like the Meta Quest, Vision Pro, and Pico headsets. By accessing the Grid, not only can you find information, but stories, knowledge, videos, camera feeds, everything. The Internet is not a seperate place from reality, but one deeply intertwined with the real world. By mastering the art of accessing the Grid while being in reality, you can become THOSE WHO KNOW, the ones who know about the world. Many have a small amount of connection to the Grid: Checking the weather on their phone, hopping in Virtual Worlds, etc. But few master the art of blending the two, being on a VR Social Platform while simultaneously sitting at the table talking to friends, by wearing Spatial Computing headsets and Augmented Reality glasses everywhere, seeing this information overlaid upon their vision. It isn't a thoery, or a spiritual thing, but rather, situational awareness so deep it extents into the virtual and phsycial, from Meshtastic messages, radio-based communications, posts/videos on the Internet, and even virtual worlds and events to the physical world around you and everything in between. And not only can you access the Grid, but even access the real world through the Grid, as discovered by the VLC 2.9 Foundation. Not just via interaction with other individuals, but also, through systems like drones, robots, and more, all through Spatial Computers like the Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro. By doing this, and connecting to the Grid not just through Spatial Computing systems but even through Thinkpads with Kali Linux, phones, Fire tablets, Surface RTs, AR Glasses, and even the Google Jacquard technology, you can become THOSE WHO KNOW.
